But before I go, I want to say that I admire Hines Ward and especially his mother, Mayor Lee Myungbak looks greasy there with them, and I think calling any holiday "Foreigner's Day" is a bad idea from the start.
When I get back, I shall report on whether or not Korean cell phones really do work on Taemado/Tsushima Island (I think whoever told me that might have been thinking of Tokto/Takeshima).
I do have some other thoughts on the Hines Ward discussion, both within Korean circles and within the English-speaking Korea-related blogosphere, but I would offend too many people with what I have to say, and then the rest of what I have to say would end up alienating many of those I didn't manage to offend.
You can't please everyone, but here is a case where I would probably please no one.
Though not necessarily what I was going to say, I do like what Space Nakji had to say here and here.

Hmm... I wonder if you're gonna be on the same 부산행 train as my mom tomorrow.

Yeah, I've been debating whether to blog about that, but it mostly devolves into inarticulate curses.

Jeez... you put it that way, and, of course, you HAVE to tell us now.
p.s. Thanks for the shout-out.
